Training Requirements


Contractor Training Requirements

To participate in 2010 PG&E QI and QM Program a TECHNICIAN Training Assessment Form must be completed and returned to Enalasys prior to start of work. Enalasys will evaluate the technician’s prior training and assign training requirement commensurate with the type of work the technician is requesting to perform.

In addition to any technical training technicians must attend a 1.5 hour free WebEx training updating them on the program and eOne platform changes. All technicians, new or returning, must satisfactorily complete training prior to obtaining approval to start work in the program.

It is also recommended that participating technicians attend and complete at least one of the following training classes and/or programs within the last three (3) years:

  • Enalasys
  • PG&E's 3-hour Duct Sealing
  • Proper Techniques for Charging Refrigerant Systems and Improving Airflow
  • Title 24 Duct Installation Standards & Diagnostic Testing
  • Title 24 HVAC System Change-Outs
  • California Building Performance Contractors Association (CBPCA)
  • HERS Rater
  • Other PG&E & Enalasys approved training, e.g., by HVAC manufacturer or distributor
