Sealing Rebate Levels
Customer Rebate Levels - updated 5/28/2010
PG&E is offering rebates to eligible customers when duct sealing is performed by qualified technicians and the duct leakage is reduced to less than 15% of total fan flow. This duct leakage threshold is in accordance with specific guidelines in the California Unified Building Code. Effective March 1, 2010
There is a single customer rebate of $200 per residential or small commercial duct system, provided that:
- The actual cost of sealing the ducts is greater than $200. The rebate amount cannot exceed the cost of sealing,
- The duct system has not been tested and sealed within a six (6) period and an incentive was paid through an Investor Owned Utility (IOU) program,
- The work performed was within the program duration,
- The customer, duct system, service address, contractor and equipment qualify.
NOTE: There are no customer rebates for RCA.
