The HomeEnalasys Program was approved as a Third Party Quality Control Program in 2006.
As part of the approval of CBPCA's Home Energy Rating System, the Energy Commission approved Home Enalasys' Third Party Quality Control Program. When participating installers are specially trained, certified, and monitored by a Third Party Quality Control Program, a smaller sampling rate (as low as 1 in 30 compared to 1 in 7) is allowed for verification of certain installed compliance measures by a HERS rater.
